2nd Virtual International Conference on
Chemical Sciences in Sustainable Technology and Development
(IC2S2TD-2021)
Jointly Organized by
Department of Chemistry, SVNIT, India
and
Chung-Ang University, South Korea
24th – 26th November 2021
About the Conference
2nd IC2S2TD-2021 aims to pave the key role of the Chemistry pathway toward sustainable development and technology among different research areas of chemical sciences. The conference will bring together Indian and International research communities working in Chemical Sciences to explore novel methodologies for sustainable development and technologies. The main objective of this virtual conference is to provide an online platform to bring together leading academics, scientists, industrial researchers, and research scholars to exchange the recent developments in chemical sciences, materials sciences, biological sciences, and related interdisciplinary research areas. This conference will cover three main themes including Chemical Sciences (Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry), Materials Sciences (biomaterials, nanomaterials, and organic materials), and interdisciplinary research areas, emphasizing their significant applications in Energy, Sustainable Environment, Food safety, and Global healthcare. The conference will also foster cooperation among organizations and researchers involved in the merging fields and will provide in-depth technical presentations with abundant opportunities for individual discussions with the presenters. Keynote speakers will provide the recent advances in each theme. Invited speakers will highlight the progress and advances on each theme. These themes and in-depth discussions will offer to establish new collaborations. Further, this conference includes oral presentations of all areas of chemical and interdisciplinary science.
Papers of 1st IC2S2TD-2020 is going to publish in the special issue (IC2S2TD -2020) in Materials Today Chemistry (Impact Factor 8.30). Similarly, selected Papers of 2nd IC2S2TD-2021 after peer review will be published in SCOPUS Indexed/SCI Journals without any Publication Charges.

Speakers
Prof. Ada. E. Yonath
“Nobel Laureate in Chemistry”
Director, The Helen and Milton A. Kimmelman Center for Biomolecular Structure and Assembly
An organism’s vital functions are managed by large, complex protein molecules produced in cells’ ribosomes. There, genetic information from “messenger RNA” is translated into chains of amino acids that then build proteins. In the 1970s, Ada Yonath began a project that culminated in 2000 in her successful mapping (together with other researchers) of the structure of ribosomes, which consist of hundreds of thousands of atoms, using x-ray crystallography. Among other applications, this has been important in the production of antibiotics.
